The major tasks include assisting the session chair in uploading presentations onto the laptops provided, assisting in the microphone transition between speakers, contacting the professional A/V technicians and meeting organizers in the event of any problems, delivering items to the session chairs, and assisting the session chairs in deleting presentations from the laptops at the end of the session.

Benefits:

Student A/V Room Monitors will be given a waiver of registration costs for the meeting.  Room monitors also will be interacting with various people in the field, so students often find this opportunity useful.
