The Washington DC Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will hold its Seventh Mini Conference on Acoustics (MCA) and the Best Student Paper Competition on Wednesday, May 11, from 6:00 ‐ 9:00 pm, at the Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. The purposes of this event are to promote and share research and knowledge in acoustics, to provide an opportunity for networking among local acousticians, and to encourage participation of students in scientific conferences in the field of acoustics. Attendees can present their current work, work already presented in previous conferences, or give a talk on what they are going to present in the near future (e.g., ASA Meeting in Salt Lake City, May 23-27, 2016). Take this chance to practice your talk and get useful feedback from professionals!

Abstract Submission:
People interested in presenting their work are invited to e‐mail a short abstract (max 200 words) to ASAChapterDC@yahoo.com before Monday, April 25, 2016. Speakers will have 15 minutes to present their work (12 min. for presentation + 3 min. for questions). A projector is available.
